Red Dead Redemption Vs Black Ops 2 for Xbox One BC

Following on from the news regarding Xbox One backwards compatibility, we now have some further good news for you. Earlier this week we shared a list of the games that are compatible so far with Xbox One by inserting old Xbox 360 discs into the system.

Now, we can reveal that Microsoft is actively working on adding new games to the list – with one new game coming every month, confirmed by Microsoft which you may not have known previously.

Even better, Microsoft has now started a community vote page here on their user feedback website with a list of the top Xbox 360 games that could be added next.

We can tell you that at the time of writing, the top two games that are leading the way are Red Dead Redemption with almost 28,000 votes and Black Ops 2 with almost 25,000 votes.

You may also be interested to know that in third place, is Bethesda’s epic adventure Skyrim so there’s three great choices there that could be added next.

The big question thoughdo you still have any of these Xbox 360 discs for these games lying around? We wonder how difficult it is to actually get the discs running on the Xbox One.

Microsoft has said that all it takes are the developers to agree to it to make BC possible, but we’re sure that there’s a lot more technicalities behind it under the hood – after all, this is now a feature that isn’t possible on PS4.

Would you love to see Black Ops 2 and Red Dead Redemption for Xbox One with backwards compatibility? Let us know what discs you still have at home and what you will be voting for.
