Red Dead Redemption: Review Roundup

With just days to go until the release of Red Dead Redemption for the Sony PS3 and the Xbox 360, we thought that it would be the perfect time for a review roundup. This Western epic has already taken the gaming world by storm, even before its May 21 release date — so what is so special about the game?

Game Informer has given this new game 9.75/10, but other titles have also achieved this score — ones that did not deserve them. Yahoo Games offers a unique review where they talk about grand Theft Auto IV and how passive its real world game play between each mission is a little passive.

That is not the case with Red Dead Redemption, once you have finished a mission and ride on to the next town your past exploits spread like wild fire — that and the fact that you can take in the rocky scenery is truly amazing. Check out the full review over at Yahoo Games.

New of the World also raves about the game saying, “Red Dead is dead good.” Well how can you top that? The online version of UK’s biggest selling Sunday newspaper, points out that the game has been in the making for some time, and has been worth the wait. Read the full review.

The review also picks up on the fact at just how large the game is, which is made up of three huge sections – Bounty Missions, Treasure Hunts and Gang Hideouts. For more details visit the link above.

These are just a couple of Red Dead Redemption reviews, if you have any more to offer then please share it with our readers below. Here are a few RDR gameplay videos for you to see before the games release.
