Red Dead Redemption: Liars and Cheaters DLC – Release Date and Price

We expect there’s a fair amount of you that are still playing the Legends and Killers pack for Red Dead Redemption, but we have the first details and a confirmed release date for the next content for the game.

The next DLC for the game will be titled Liars and Cheaters – which isn’t any relation to Rockstar’s recent ban hammer session by the way.

The pack will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 21st, according to Eurogamer. It will be priced at 800 Microsoft Points on the Marketplace, or £7.99 from the Playstation Store.

Content will include a new attack and defence style multiplayer mode called Stronghold, multiplayer horse races, 15 new multiplayer skins, four new hunting grounds and new achievements and trophies too.

With the content aside, the biggest news is thought to be the fact that this pack was originally meant to be free, according to Rockstar anyway. The main reason why it was turned into paid content was due to ‘network restrictions’ on the amount of free packs that can be released.

It is interesting to add that they didn’t specifically put Sony or Microsoft’s name in there, but you can guess that this is more Microsoft’s doing than Sonys – do you agree?

Do you think that is a fair deal or not? Obviously, there is going to be a lot of you who aren’t happy with this, so share your thoughts with us below.
