The day has come to get your hands on the FIFA 12 demo, although the release time has not been confirmed by EA. The game demo will give fans a taste of what’s to come and is expected to go live on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live today.
Yesterday we heard about an early FIFA 12 review that was full of praise, we also posted our hopes for the commentators following the repetitiveness of the last game, and the new trailer showed some pretty cool skill moves.
With each bit of news that has trickled through over the last few days and weeks, we have got more excited about FIFA 12 and our expectations have raised higher, which could be a bad thing. Today we as well as our readers will find out if those expectations have been met. We want to hear your reactions to the FIFA 12 demo, any problems you may find (let us know the system you’re using), and what you think of the teams that are playable in the trial version. These are reported to be AC Milan, Dortmund, Marseille, Man City, Arsenal, and Barcelona.
We look forward to trying out the new features of FIFA 12 including a new collision impact engine, which we hope gives us more realistic tackles. At the time of writing we can confirm the PS3 version is not live on the PS Store yet, although we’ll keep you updated throughout the day. If you see the download go live, please share a comment. You can expect the full game to launch later this month, September 29-30.
Update: It’s expected that the FIFA 12 demo release time will be when the DLC’s are pushed to Xbox Live. We’re checking the PlayStation Store, expected UK time 5pm, and will update you when it goes live, also check out this page on Twitter for quicker updates.
Update 2: We’re hearing that the download has gone live on Xbox Live, and that PS3 owners in Europe will have to wait until tomorrow.
