Rdio Select low subscription pricing in India

The new Rdio Select music streaming subscription service in India delivers a radical pricing model to shake up this industry. This is the aim of Rdio anyway, which desires to hit the competition like Apple and Spotify with a new low price point. This has been made possible thanks to new Rdio Select low subscription pricing, currently at $3.99 a month after 60 days free and 60 rupees in India.

Users gain a choice of songs that can be played at anytime, enhanced radio stations, and no skip limits or ads like seen with Apple’s Radio app. The service allows for 25 songs to be downloaded, so you can play at anytime, and Rdio Select users receive higher music quality thanks to 320 kbps.

If you are interested in the service, then you will notice it’s already live within the Rdio Android app and should be live in the US, India, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand by the end of this week.

Those benefiting most from Rdio Select pricing – personally, we believe this service is perfect for the India market and those around the world new to music streaming. While some will never want to pay for digital content, others would give a low $3.99 plan a try and in India the 60 rupees cost per month is even better value for money.

In India, this could also be popular due to internet quality changing a lot by area and limits put on data packages. It will be harder to sell in Western markets like the UK and United States, but in India this could really take off.

The Rdio Select market in India could target almost 500 million within the next 5 years, especially considering this is the expected amount of people to have internet access by that time.
