RCA tablets have become known for offering high quality at an unbeatable price and now it looks like the new RCA Tablet for 2016 is the Galileo Pro.

Key RCA Galileo Pro tablet specs include an 11.5-inch display with a 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB of RAM, a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor, a rear 2 megapixel camera, front facing 1MP camera and 32GB of internal storage with confirmation of MicroSD card support too if you need more.

You can usually buy the RCA Galileo Pro 11.5″ 32GB Tablet with a Keyboard Case from Walmart for over $100 but at the time of writing it is available for under $100 at just $98 which is a fantastic price.

I have purchased two of these and returned both. Each had a total battery failure and discharged to 0% while charging on micro usb. in addition, whenever i detached the micro usb, the battery began a rapid discharge. the work around is to power off first. Also poor resolution.

  • I recently purchased this tablet for $79 at Walmart and after getting it set-up, I am VERY happy with it. The ONLY downsides I could find are 1) the touch pad does not have a click button, this is no big deal and I skipped using it by installing a simple wireless mouse that I can click, with it as it also fits great in my briefcase, 2) The built in camera has very poor resolution, but I never use a tablet camera anyway (My phone has great resolution in its camera). The BEST thing about this tablet is the almost full size keyboard, and that it fits perfectly in the pocket in my briefcase. for $79 you cannot beat it.
