While everyone is buzzing about E3, and all the news that is coming from Microsoft with the new Xbox 360 Slim & Kinetic, Ubisoft dropped a bombshell of it’s own and announced that a new Rayman title is in the works.
Rayman Origins will see Rayman return in a new 2D adventure, alongside a second on-screen character. But that does not mean that there will be co-operative play, as it has not being announced yet.
We are also still to find out what platforms Rayman Origins will be released on, aswell as an official release date. But you have to bet your bottom dollar it will be made available for all major consoles. PS3 might even get the exclusive.
From the trailer, which can be viewed below. We see a return of everyone’s favorite no armed, no legged character alongside new found friend Globox. And I must say, it looks fun, and could most certainly be a dark horse in being one of the games of the year.
We also have some screenshots to share with you, which you can view here via the official Rayman Origins Facebook page.
What are your first impressions of Rayman Origins?
