Ratchet & Clank All 4 One: 3D PS3 Release Confirmed

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One is set to be released this year on Playstation 3 and the big news on this one is that it has 3D graphics. Yes, we’ve seen 3D becoming alot more dominant in media these days and with the Nintendo 3DS release coming, it seems as if R&C developers Insomniac thought that 3D was the way forward for their platformer.

The game will support stereoscopic 3D visuals and by the looks of things will be exclusive to the PS3, however we wouldn’t be surprised if a Sony NGP spin-off is revealed in the future. At the time of this post no solid release date was known, however Wikipedia suggest that a Fall 2011 release is expected.

The new title in the series of Ratchet and Clank games will have a co-op mode which enables four players to drop in and out of games as they wish and all play on the same screen simultaneously. This is supposed to be the game’s big feature which may see fans flocking to the title or depending on the quality of multiplayer fleeing.

With 3D visuals and drop-in / drop-out multiplayer functionality it is clear that Insomniac are working hard on Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, let’s just hope it doesn’t disappointed. What do you think of the news that R&C is going 3D?
