Rambo video game review

Now those of you who loved Sylvester Stallone’s John Rambo character in the films would probably see this as the ideal computer game, and we are eager to find out how this has been perceived in a Rambo video game review. Today we have a number of visual perspectives regarding the PC, PS3 and 360 title as presenters give us their impression of this game based on the Rambo movies.

The first review on offer comes courtesy of Gggmanlives lasts about 6 and half minutes. It starts off by showing the funeral of the Vietnam veteran and the presenter doesn’t hold back as he scrutinizes this from the off. He regards this as the worst shooter he has ever played and wonders whether this could be classed as the worst game ever.

Rambo: Machine of War is based around the films and the iconic scenes and sound-clips from the movies are positives as dialogue from Stallone included in the films is used within the game. He acknowledges that there were a few occasions that were remotely enjoyable, but these moments are few and far between.

In the second video by AngryJoeShow we get a more aggressive account as they highlight poor graphics in a game that looks like it wouldn’t even be entertained twenty years ago. Their angry review can be quite amusing at times as they joke about how this game is bad for the Rambo franchise.

Their review does go on longer than expected lasting over 25 minutes and after about 2 or 3 minutes we get the gist of what they think of this game. Moving on to the third Rambo video game review by Eurogamer, the theme of making jokes about Stallone is still apparent.

Using a John Rambo voice this review is also quite humorous as they run through the game showing quite a large part of the gameplay, which gives us the chance to make an informed decision of what we think of this. Personally, I feel this is a poor attempt to cash in on the franchise and although this title has been released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC nearly a week ago we can see why it is roughly £10 cheaper than most new games.

At the beginning of the year we wrote about Rambo: Machine of War action being teased for the PS3 and Xbox 360, allowing fans to check out what is involved. In this we discussed how this was initially meant to release in 2013, but from what we can see of this it looks like it could have been released 10 years prior.

Did you have high hopes for an entertaining and top notch Rambo game? If so, we suggest you hang on a while longer or check out the videos below first as this version doesn’t look like a game worth investing in.
