PwnageTool iOS 4.1 Jailbreak: Download and How-To Guide

We have some good news for iPhone and iPod Touch users now, as we can confirm that PwnageTool has finally been released. It is available to download now, and we have a guide to show you which will help you install it.

That guide comes to you courtesy of RedmondPie, as they have provided a full set of instructions, as well as the relevant download links that you’ll need to get this working.

In case you didn’t know by now, this new version of PwnageTool will jailbreak all iOS 4.1 devices. That includes the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 3G and 4G, Apple iPad and also Apple TV.

This jailbreak is important to those of you who haven’t already used the GreenPois0n or Limera1n jailbreaks, as PwnageTool will allow you to jailbreak iOS 4.1 without updating your baseband, i.e – allowing you to unlock your handset for use with other carriers.
