PS4 Vs Xbox One with Jack Tretton boast

Earlier this week we told you about some interesting comments from Microsoft’s director of product planning in relation to advantages that the Xbox One has over the PS4. Now, in almost perfect timing, Sony’s Jack Tretton has chimed in with his own PS4 hype claims, providing three reasons why Sony’s console is better than the Xbox One.

If you have been keeping up to date with the next-gen console hype train, you’ll know that Sony has been marketing their console under the basis that their hardware is more powerful than the Xbox One on paper. Fans have moved on board with this as well, which is why you’ll Microsoft execs like Albert Penello attempt to defend the Xbox One with some hardware facts of their own as highlighted above.

Sony appears to be very confident though. The popular Jack Tretton has given an interview with Fox News, again stating in the purest terms that ‘they have the most powerful console on the market’.

He also reminds everyone that the PS4 is ‘$100 cheaper than the Xbox One’ and talks about having the most ‘diverse exclusive lineup’ on the PS4 compared to Xbox One – which is obviously debatable since Microsoft has many exclusives like Titanfall, Ryse and Dead Rising on their books already, with many more to come next year.

Tretton is obviously going to say good things about the PS4, but is he accurate to say that the PS4 hardware is more powerful than the Xbox One – especially with Microsoft’s counter-attack earlier this week. Nobody can argue with the price difference aspect, but time will tell to see if Sony can really produce on the PS4 exclusives front.

Take a look at the video interview here below and let us know what you think about the latest tale in the ongoing war.
