PS4 Vs Xbox One sales loss for Microsoft again

We have the latest PS4 Vs Xbox One sales news to bring you now and once again it looks like Sony are going from strength to strength. The official PS4 Vs Xbox One May 2014 sales data from NPD are in and it has concluded with Sony emerging victorious for a fifth consecutive month.

This is a remarkable turn of events for Sony who have been used to trailing behind Microsoft in the previous PS3 Vs Xbox 360 sales war. However, gamers appear to be loving the next-gen PS4 ahead of the Xbox One with the May results now secured.

Although we don’t have the exact breakdown in figures yet since the NPD Group hasn’t released them, they have said that Sony has sold more than Microsoft for the fifth month in a row.

June is going to be the interesting month though, as remember this is when Microsoft started to sell their Xbox One for $399 without a Kinect camera – a breakthrough for many consumers and seemingly another victory for those that voiced their displeasure at Kinect being forced initially.

In terms of software, nobody will be surprised to hear that Watch Dogs came in at first position on all formats. Nintendo will be very pleased to see that Mario Kart 8 went in at number two position though, beating the likes of MLB 14 on PS4 and Wolfenstein.

As we await for the official breakdown, give us your reaction for another sales victory for Sony. Are you surprised that they are beating Microsoft for five straight months in a row?
