PS4 update 1.51 features with auto-download joy

We have some great news for those of you who have already picked up a PS4 console at launch. It has been less than a week since the console went on sale, but we can already see Sony working non stop to address fan feedback. PS4 update 1.51 is coming very soon and we have the PS4 1.51 feature list to share with you.

As most of you are aware, there has been some problems with the console, which we went into detail on in a report yesterday. Moving away from that, everyone else has been loving the system and it’s great to see that Sony are wasting no time in making the PS4 even better.

The update could be going live at any minute, but the beauty of this update is that it will be downloaded automatically in the background, meaning that it could be ready to install the next time you turn on your console.

This is one of the core-features of the PS4 console and should save users a lot of hassle when they just want to turn on their system to play games and free of any time-consuming updates.

The PS4 update 1.51 update notes are not too lengthy by any means, but the real thing to take out of this is Sony’s willingness to improve the system just five days after launch.

According to Sony, the following changes are coming with 1.51: Firstly, a general improvement of system software stability. Next, Sony has enhanced the system UI to clearly indicate when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time – this had been a minor issue, but Sony has fixed this already.

So there we have it – let’s hope that Sony are already working on improving other areas of the UI, such as the web browser and so on. Let us know your thoughts on this update, just five days after the US launch.

Are you very pleased with Sony at the moment or not?
