Attention all PS4 fans now as have a video which you simply cannot afford to miss. We all know that the console is due to launch on November 15 in the US, but what you won’t have seen yet is a detailed insight into the components that make up your future prized asset.
With this in mind, you’ll be pleased to hear that Sony has provided us with a PS4 unboxing video. Not only that, but the unboxing also doubles up as a detailed PS4 teardown as well, showing every single component that is featured under the hood and the specs which will define the system and hopefully bring us into a 1080p, 60FPS gaming era.
It really doesn’t come much better than this in terms of a PS4 teardown and we all need to thank Sony’s Yasuhiro Ootori, who is the engineering director on the new console. He has carefully unscrewed every nook and cranny of the system, showing just what makes the PS4 tick and how to get to certain aspects of the console.
For example, this is arguably the first chance to see where the PS4 500GB hard drive is located, whilst also giving another reminder that it can be fully customized with a larger HDD if you wish to add more memory. There’s also a look at the unique cooling system, which Sony says is exclusive to their product.
Sony has said that they have used two seals to ‘discourage’ users from opening up the PS4, but they know deep down that a lot of users are going to get straight to upgrading that hard drive at the first opportunity. Watch the beautiful video below and let us know what you think of it.
