PS4 UK mega bundle needs US release

You don’t need to panic if you have yet to pre-order a PS4 launch date bundle online, as it looks like waiting around is once again going to pay off with the best deals. Although officially not revealed in full yet, Sony has confirmed that they will be offering a ‘mega PS4’ bundle, offering some great extras for a great price that compares to the Xbox One price and may be difficult to turn down.

You may not have heard about the PS4 mega bundle yet, as it is only just gaining momentum and continues to be the subject of whispers on various social media boards. It’s definitely coming though and will offer UK consumers the chance to pick up the PS4 console, but with Killzone Shadow Fall, an extra DualShock 4 controller and the PS4 camera.

Two retailers have already made plans to offer consumers the mega bundle, specifically those who already have a launch-day bundle ordered. The retailers in question are GAME and Shopto, as we understand that many gamers in the UK have been receiving calls over the weekend, querying whether they would like to upgrade to the PS4 mega bundle as highlighted above or not.

As far as we’re aware, GAME will be offering the Mega bundle for £449.99, whilst ShopTo are going to be charging £449.86 for it. Just to remind you, the official price for the Xbox One in UK will be £429 and only comes with one controller and no games – unless you pre-order and qualify for the free FIFA 14 offer in the UK.

Either way though, we can see that there is great demand in the mega bundle already and it looks like stock is going to be very limited. At the moment, we haven’t heard of a similar bundle in the US, but it would be rather silly of Sony not to offer the same package for US gamers.

As we await further details from Sony, tell us if you have been contacted to upgrade to a PS4 mega bundle or not. Did you already commit yourself or are you waiting?
