PS4 retail game boxes up close and personal

Are you counting down the days before the glorious PS4 release date of November 15 in the US? Most of you will already have your lovely console on pre-order, but now we bring you pictures of the actual game boxes that you will be receiving when opening up everything for the first time.

You probably already have an idea of what games to buy, with selections involving the likes of Killzone: Shadow Fall, FIFA 14, Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4 – but not DriveClub anymore after the well documented and disappointing delay.

You can bet that retailers across the US are now preparing for the big sales push and training up on how to effectively help Sony shift lots of hardware and software copies. Earlier this week we gave you an idea of how the final retail boxes may look like for the consoles.

Now though, we bring you some great pictures of the actual games up close and personal. You can see what the Battlefield 4 box looks like, and even better – an early preview of what Destiny will look like on the PS4 as well. Note the big marketing slogan at the front of the box – “From the creators of Halo”.

Unfortunately, there’s another reminder of what might have been with the DriveClub box, which generously comes with 3 months free of PS Plus. Let’s hope that offer still stands when the game comes out in Spring 2014.

Which PS4 games have you ordered or are planning to buy on November 15? Is this the most excited you have been about a new electronics launch in a long time?
