We recently told you about rumors regarding the availability of a PS4 mega bundle in the UK. It consists of a PS4 console, a copy of Killzone Shadow Fall, the PS4 camera and an extra Dual Shock 4 controller. Now we can definitely confirm that it is heading to UK and it looks like retailers are now slugging it out to offer upgrade packages to consumers that already have a PS4 on order.
Unfortunately, we still do not see any evidence that Sony plans to offer these mega bundles in the US. However, we all know that the Black Friday 2013 season is coming up thick and fast, so perhaps we will see Sony make a big move then.
For now, it looks like these are for Europe consumers only and you should be keeping an eye out during your next shopping trip to gaming stores, or indeed via your email box where you may have already been contacted. It has now become apparent that Amazon are notifying consumers who have already placed a PS4 order as far back as August.
These consumers seem to be taking priority and have been offered the chance to not only upgrade to the PS4 mega bundle as highlighted above, but also a variation of the mega bundle as well with one included extra. Here we have evidence for you below courtesy of Twitter, where one user has been offered a £489 PS4 bundle, which includes the items mentioned above, but also with a copy of FIFA 14 thrown in for measure as well.

That means for roughly £60 more than the £429 Xbox One launch price, Sony will be offering FIFA 14 and an extra controller – although remember that some Xbox One pre-orders in UK will be getting FIFA 14 for free anyway as part of EA’s new partnership with Microsoft.
While Amazon are offering this new mega bundle for £489, you should really be watching to see if any supermarkets like Tesco will jump in at the last minute and offer an even cheaper price.
