PS4 launch titles ultimatum for retail and PSN

Have you decided what PS4 launch games you are buying this November? Most of you are probably aware of what games will be available at retail, but we have a quick reminder to inform you that there will be a fair amount of PS4 games to buy from the PSN store as well at launch.

While the debate ensues over which has the best launch games between PS4 Vs Xbox One, you’ll be pleased to know that there will be a healthy selection of games to choose at launch between retail and digital versions.

Retail games will obviously include juggernauts such as Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Killzone Shadow Fall and FIFA 14. However, there are some notable digital PS4 games to look out for as well if you are looking for something different.

These include PSN title Blacklight: Retribution, which is a free-to-play, futuristic first-person shooter that is going to offer a great alternative to BF4 and COD Ghosts. The game has received a very positive following throughout development, and is already available to buy for PC on Steam – attracting very favorable reviews.

Another PSN game to look out for is Flower, a PS4 remake of the existing PS3 title – this one will also qualify for Sony’s cross-buy incentive with the upcoming PS Vita version as well. Failing that, you may be interested in another highly followed game called Warframe.

Don't forget about F2P Warframe, also due out at launch.

Warframe is a free-to-play third person shooter which will be unique in the fact that it will support cross-platform play between PS4 and PC users, which is obviously always a lovely feature.

Which PS4 launch titles are you planning to buy – will you stick with retail, or buy a mixture of digital games as well?
