PS4 4.50 update hidden feature discovered

With just hours to go until Sony releases the highly anticipated PS4 4.50 update across the world, we have found out about one hidden PS4 4.50 feature that Sony has so far not mentioned in their initial preview.

By now, you should have heard that the upcoming PS4 software update 4.50 will offer features such as external HDD support, custom wallpapers, Boost Mode for PS4 Pro and tweaks to the notifications menu.

However now we can reveal that another feature coming is the ability to deactivate a Primary PS4 console remotely, from a secondary console and make that into a Primary system.

If you are not at home and often need to change system status in relation to Store content, this could turn out to be an extremely useful feature for you.

This could also have some bearing on PS4 gamesharing considering that there is currently a 24 hour time lock in place once you deactivate a PS4 console as a Primary status currently.

Not long to go until PS4 firmware 4.50 is out so we’ll be able to bring you more details on this feature soon. Give us your reaction below – will this be useful to you?
