PS4 3.11 firmware update live, no new features again

When you turn on your PS4 console this morning, you will notice that a new PS4 3.11 firmware update is live at 250.4MB on November 9, 2015.

Unfortunately though, those looking to get new features with PS4 system software 3.11 are going to be disappointed as this update is another of Sony’s infamous stability updates.

The official PS4 3.11 firmware update notes are as below along with the message: “System software stability during use of some features has been improved.”

That’s it, no new features to enjoy with 3.11 sadly but Sony obviously has their reasons for this update. It’s also interesting to note that this PS4 update coincided with a new FIFA 16 PS4 update going live at exactly the same time.

Are the two connected to each other with EA finding a problem inside FIFA 16 that required a quick system update? We’ll dig around for details on this but let us know if you have just installed a 250MB update on PS4 today.

Do you spot anything new that Sony hasn’t documented in the notes?
