PS3’s God Of War III: Does not require an HD install – Sony

Sony has just confirmed that the upcoming exclusive, God Of War III will ‘not’ require a mandatory install on the hard drive. It ends confusion on the 5MB listed on the back of the retail box – that’s actually for your save file, obviously!

As reported from Eurogamer, Head of development, Christer Ericson revealed the news over on his Twitter account, reassuring PS3 owners who are planning to pick up the game on March 19th.

If you didn’t know by now, God Of War III will take up a whopping 35GB on the dual-layered Blu-Ray, and an even bigger 40GB for the European version.

Is this a day-one purchase for you? It should be.
