PS3 DLC: Affected by PlayStation Network Outage

With all that has been going on with Sony, we thought it was about time we looked at the PS3 DLC titles affected by the PlayStation Network outage. We had hoped to see PSN back up by now, but it seems as though Sony keeps extending its estimates. On a lighter note though, we discussed earlier how this downtime is a good thing for the environment — not sure gamers care much about that at the moment.

Examiner says that two DLC games just missed out before PSN was hacked, along with another three still waiting. The five titles are as follows: Beyond Good & Evil, Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale, Gatling Gears, Hydrophobia: Prophecy and finally Outland — Ubisoft. However, ones that still might be missed are Streets of Rage 2 and Under Siege.

This outage is not good for gamers, but even worse for developers, as this is now hitting them hard. They feel that the long amount of time that the PlayStation Network has been down is now affecting profit. This could have a serious affect on Sony, one that could see developers start to jump ship.

Sony will have to start keeping us more informed, such as offer reasons why this is taking so long. PSN is rumored to be up either in the next few days or by the end of May. However, if it is delayed longer, then we could see a later release for the Escalation Map Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

What PS3 DLC titles were you waiting on before PSN went down?
