PS Vita Remote Play online test with COD Ghosts

In a week where we have seen some very interesting developments with regards to the PS4 and Xbox One console launches, we want to remind you about one feature of the PS4 which could really take off in 2014. Remote Play on the PS Vita is fantastic and now we have a quick heads-up on how the PS Vita can handle an online PS4 game whilst in Remote Play mode.

Earlier this week, we showed you how good Call of Duty Ghosts single-player mode looked in 1080p when hooked up to Remote Play streaming. What most of you wanted to see instead though, is how well the PS Vita can handle an online PS4 game.

We’re pleased to be able to bring you this test now, showing an online game of COD Ghosts Extinction. The good news is that it looks great as well, with no sign of lag shown in the clip below. Having said that, the quality of the PS Vita stream will be dependant on your internet connection though – so it will obviously vary.

We can’t tell you how useful this feature is going to become for consumers that often have limited time with their main TV in the living room. Enjoy this clip and tell us if you have started to enjoy the fruits of Remote Play or not yet.
