PS Vita joy with Star Wars Pinball

If you are looking for some new content to play on your PS Vita this month, we have some good news for you. The popular Zen Pinball 2 game on PS3 and PS Vita is getting some new content, a new Star Wars expansion to be specific which should satisfy most of you out there. It is coming to Zen Pinball 2 this month as DLC, comprised of three different tables from the Star Wars Universe.

The most impressive of the three from what we can see, is The Empire Strikes Back table. Zen Studios have released a teaser gameplay trailer showing what the new table will look like and if you’re a fan of Star Wars, you’ll agree that it looks pretty fantastic with all the different effects and characters included.

The other two tables on offer will be a Boba Fett table and also a Star Wars Clone Wars table. Aside from the main nuts and bolts gameplay that a pinball table offers, we’ve also spotted some nice interactive features thrown in there as well. For example on the Empire Strikes Back table, players can activate a nifty FPS mini game where they have to deflect blaster shots with a lightsaber to score bonus points.

There is no pricing for the Star Wars table yet, but just to remind you – Zen Pinball 2 also qualifies for Sony’s cross buy incentive. It means that if you pick up the Star Wars pack on PS3, you’ll get it free on PS Vita too which is great. Alternatively, the new content will also be available as standalone apps on the iOS and Android marketplaces.

Are you interested in picking up the Star Wars content on PS Vita? The gameplay looks impressive below and Zen Studios have clearly taken their time on the game to make it look as authentic as possible.
