PS Plus update release time for US and UK

It is almost time for Sony to go live with the highly anticipated PS Plus update release time for US gamers. For those that are asking the question on when it will go live, US gamers will be able to get the free games sometime on Tuesday, while those in the UK will have to hold on until Wednesday.

This is standard practise as most of you should know by now and in accordance with tradition of US updates on a Tuesday and Europe updates on a Wednesday. As a result, those in the US can now look forward to a PS Plus Store update at any moment, offering DriveClub, Spelunky and Dust: An Elysian Tail on PS4.

For PS3 users, there is a big surprise in store with the arrival of the excellent Batman Arkham Asylum game. For those that haven’t played Spelunky, it may just look like an average indie game on first impression.

Just like Towerfall: Ascension and Fez though, you’ll soon be mistaken as Spelunky will probably end up as the most popular PS Plus release for October – A 90 score on Metacritic for the PC version of the game is no joke.

We’ve just passed midnight on Pacific Time, so the update could be going live at any moment. As we wait for that PS Store to refresh, tell us which game you will be playing most between Spelunky, DriveClub PS Plus Edition, Dust: An Elysian Tail or even Batman Arkham Asylum.

Is the PS Plus October update live in your area yet?
