PS Plus price increase 2017 with angry gamers

Some breaking news has just come in from Sony and it is not good if you are living in Europe. We can confirm that as of August 2017, the PS Plus price is changing and it will mean an increase of 25% for those buying annual subscriptions.

To put it in simpler terms, PS Plus will now cost £49.99 instead of £39.99 as of August 31, 2017 for a 1 year subscription. For 4 months, the price will be £19.99 instead of £14.99 and one month will now cost £6.99 instead of £5.99.

Remember that the PS Plus price increase deadline is August 31, 2017. That means you have until then to cancel your ongoing subscription if you want to. You can also renew your subscription for another year at the current price, if you want to stack up your subscription as long as you do it before August 31.
