PS Plus October 2014 PS4 games list live

It has been a long time coming, but just as Sony hinted recently, we are now pleased to share the official PS Plus October 2014 games list which is now live. The two free PS Plus October PS4 games have been revealed to be Dust: An Elysian Tail and Spelunky.

Remember that Driveclub is already on the way, so there will be a total of three games included for the October update which is fantastic. The fact that Spelunky and Dust: An Elysian Tail have been selected though may be a surprise to most as many gamers were obviously expecting big retail games such as Knack and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag to be included.

We always thought that it was far too early and judging by the final list, it looks like we were right along with Sony’s thinking. That’s not to say that An Elysian Tail and Spelunky are bad choices though, Spelunky is a game which has received fantastic reviews when it was initially launched, while Elysian Tail only just released in October with a release directly on PS Plus in 2014.

The big question is whether you are happy to have these games as part of your Instant Game Collection to keep you subscribing to Sony’s service. Are the choices good enough to keep you going another month, or can you admit to being a little disappointed?

Stay tuned to PR as we bring you full analysis of the games that have been chosen. For now, give us your reaction to the picks which have just gone live minutes ago on Sony’s website.

Driveclub, Spelunky and Dust: An Elysian Tail are the free games on PS4, let us know what you think below!
