PS Plus May 2014 update for US,UK

Earlier on this week we talked about the hype and excitement over the upcoming PS Plus May 2014 update for US and UK PS4 and PS3 gamers. Now, the list has been finalized and we can now tell you what the free games will be on both platforms and in both regions.

As most of you know, the games continue to differ depending on if you have a PS Plus subscription in the US or UK. This is often frustrating if one region gets a better game and the other region doesn’t, but this is a trend that doesn’t seem set to stop any time soon due to licensing and other legal issues.

Without further ado, we can confirm that the PS4 game is Stick it to the Man. We initially told you about this in our previous article here. Thankfully this game will be available in both regions and will be available to download from April 30.

It’s not a completely new game however, as Stick it to the Man is actually a port from the PS3 and PS Vita release, which came out in 2013. It is also available on PC and will soon be available on Wii U too, as of May 1.

For PS3 gamers, the May update in US will bring Puppeteer and Pro Evo 2014. You may remember that Pro Evo was the PS3 game that was offered for free for EU gamers in April, so now it is time for it to arrive stateside.

Those of you in the EU will be able to download Puppeteer as well, but instead of Pro Evo, you may be pleased to hear that Payday 2 will be available instead.

Many of you will be very happy with Stick it to the Man on PS4, but we can already see that some gamers are calling it the ‘worst PS Plus update’ so far, which we think is a little harsh.

Are you happy with next month’s update or not? Give us your reaction below.
