PS Plus February 2014 PS4 update for Horror fans

Heads-up all PS4 users now, as it looks like we may have an early preview of the PS Plus February 2014 update. The January 2014 PlayStation Plus update for PS4 may have disappointed you, but next month’s offering could turn out to be something special.

If rumors are to be believed, the main game is going to be Outlast. This is the same game that released for PC last year and currently has a ‘Q1 2014’ release date schedule on PS4. It’s also the same title that received some fantastic review scores and turned out to be arguably the best horror game of 2013.

Have a look at the Outlast Metacritic page to read everything you need to know about the game. Metacritic review scores from users can very harsh sometimes, so you’ll agree with us in saying that an 80 score is very impressive.

The information is according to this website, but remember it is not 100% confirmed yet so still treat this as rumor. Assuming their information matches up though, then PS3 users are also going to get the likes of Bioshock Infinite and Metro Last Light thrown in for free as well.

There really is no argument when it comes to explaining the value of PS Plus. If Sony and Red Barrels are really thinking of giving Outlast away for free, then that is going to be some game that you are getting.

Let’s hope that this turns out to be true, as the PS4 is in need of a great horror game before The Evil Within arrives. Give us your reaction to this below.
