Proscan 32-inch LED HDTV budget specs, an ideal gift

We have had a huge response from readers asking about the Proscan 32″ HDTV, although we had to ask them to elaborate as to what model seeing as though there are a few with a 32-inch panel. The model they were hoping to learn more details about was the Proscan PLDED3257A 32-inch LED HDTV, as it is a budget model and an ideal gift at this time of year.

This is not the latest 32-inch model from Proscan but the PLDED3257A is still a pretty decent model and would be perfect as a second TV, or one for your child to use in the bedroom to watch movies to help get them to sleep.

Proscan 32″ HDTV PLDED3257A specs – This 32-inch LED HDTV comes with budget specs, as you would assume from the brand, with features such as a 1366 x 768 resolution and a brightness of 330CD/M2 being proof of that. The other specs are also to be expected with its 16:9 aspect ratio, 60hz refresh rate, ATSC tuner and just 2 HDMI ports. For a more detailed look at its specs you can view the Proscan 32inch HDTV PLDED3257A manual here.

This means the Proscan PLDED3257A lacks wireless, and any Smart TV functions, and so is rather basic and not ideal as your main television if you like to enjoy streaming content direct to your TV via apps. You can see an image below of its energy rating.

We wanted to offer you a Proscan 32″ HDTV PLDED3257A video review, but there are none, and so if you would like to know what owners thought about this model, then you can always head over to Amazon, as there is a multitude of user reviews. You need to be realistic about this TV though, as it will not win any awards for its picture or sound quality, but then what do you expect for a TV that usually costs less than $300.

However, we would say keep any eye out over the coming weeks, as this Proscan 32-inch LED HDTV could very well be reduced in price to help entice your custom. If your budget can stretch a little further, maybe you should consider the Element ELEFW408 TV.
