The Project Spark beta release date is close according to Microsoft executive Phil Spencer. Bugs are currently being ironed out in the game but despite this we could see a launch come as early as next week.
Project Spark focuses on a creative build and share theme and will be available to download for free on Xbox One and Xbox 360. In game purchases will be available to get more premium features and content, the PC elements will also be available for Xbox CVG reports.
Project Spark is set to feature stunning environments in which players can create their very own worlds and share the experience with friends. Team Dakota, the Project Spark development team had hoped to release the beta in January, however hold ups have seen this date delayed until as late as March. It would appear that the launch will now happen between these dates in the middle of February if Spencer’s tweets are accurate.
Michael Saxs Persson, the head of the Project Spark development team has confirmed Spencer’s claims and said that his team are currently ‘fighting through bugs.’ Whilst an exact release date could not be pinned down, Persson claimed that the beta was close and the launch would depend on the amount of roadblocks encountered in the final phases.
