Project Natal Tech on a Phone – Is this the Future?

We have a very interesting video to show you now, which shows technology seen in Microsoft’s Project Natal device – running on a cell phone.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, developers over at the University of Tokyo have come up with a concept controller which allows you to map commands without having to actually touch the phones screen.

Full navigation around the screen is possible, along with the ability to ‘click’ and use a virtual keyboard on the screen. Towards the end of the video, you can see the same tech used to zoom into pictures, or even on a simple painting application.

Is this an exciting look into smartphones in the years to come? Make sure you look at the video below and give us your thoughts on it afterwards.
