Some interesting news to report to you now, as it has been revealed that eating cheese can improve your immune system by acting as a carrier for probiotic bacteria.
As reported from The Telegraph, a daily intake of probiotic cheese can help to reduce deterioration of the immune system which occurs when you start to get old.
Lead author Dr Fandi Ibrahim from the University of Turku in Finland had this to say on the new findings: “We have demonstrated that the regular intake of probiotic cheese can help to boost the immune system and that including it in a regular diet may help to improve an elderly person’s immune response to external challenges.”
