Preparing for any emergency: Apps teach you how

We are never surprised by what life throws at us, and it is for that reason why more people are now preparing for an emergency. There are so many ways in which you can get ready for such a thing, but we believe that apps teach you how easier and quicker than some of the other methods that are available.

In most cases you do not have that long to react, it is for this reason why you need to be ready. Most of these apps will not only teach you how to protect yourself and your family, but also a host of other skills as well.

The first app that we have for you is Emergency Preparedness Checklist and costs just $1.99, a small price to pay wouldn’t you say? With this app you will get a checklist that you will need to follow if something were to happen. Some of the things that this app teaches you are creating an emergency plan, preparing a disaster supply kit, and an emergency kit for the car.

SOS! Emergency Preparedness is a little more expensive at $3.99, but still offers great value when compared to a book or bringing someone to your home to talk about how you can prepare for an emergency. More often than not when an emergency takes place most of us start to panic, but with this app on your side you will always be ready.

There are times when we are called upon to administer first aid; this app not only covers that, but also CPR and also a disaster recovery guide. We do not know if you should ever consider CPR until you have had proper medical training, as in some cases you could make matters worse.

Our third app that we thought needed a mention is called Emergency Preparation and at $2.99 falls in the middle of the previous two. This app will prepare yourself if you are faced with an earthquake, hurricane, flood, fire, tsunami or even a war. A few years back we would have said that the last one was a bit far-fetched, but we now live in a world where anything is possible. It seems that we now live in a world where conflict is a part of everyday life.

One of the best and most comprehensive apps is Informed Home Emergency Pocket Guide, and we should expect no less considering the $4.99 price. This app even teaches you about terrorism, and even decontamination and exposure control. See what we mean, we just hope that you take all of this information onboard and put it to good use?
