Samsung had already confirmed a few weeks back that the Galaxy Note 7 will be unveiled on August 7, during another Unpacked event, and it’s nice to see the Note return to the UK market.
The Galaxy Note 5 was not made available in the UK, and Samsung understands that this did not go down too well with people in the United Kingdom, and realize that they had to not make the same mistake again.
This is also good news for the likes of Carphone Warehouse, as they will be able to offer their customers some amazing Galaxy Note 7 upgrade deals.
While it may be hard to predict what sort of deals Carphone Warehouse will be offering, we suspect that plans are likely to start from £45 per month, although you might be able to get a better offer if you are prepared to trade-in your own handset
In terms of how much the outright cost of the Galaxy Note 7 will be, we suspect it could be £600 to £650, although even more if you opt for a different storage option.
Having said that, we have noticed that when you choose to upgrade to a Galaxy S7 rather than starting a new contract, the upfront cost is actually more expensive – and so it might work in your best interest to come to the end of your contract and look at another network – just a thought before you get a Note 7 handset.
