Pre-order RIM’s new flagship BlackBerry Bold 9900 at Vodafone now

There are a number of potentially great smartphones that are to be made available on the market in the next couple of months. The Motorola Droid Bionic and Apple’s iPhone 5 are probably the most anticipated of these devices, both rumored to release next month with the HTC EVO 3D closely following, also due next month. RIM’s new flagship model the BlackBerry Bold 9900 however, is expected this month though it has not yet got a confirmed date, which would give it a head start over upcoming smartphones and is now available for pre-order online at Vodafone.

According to Phones Review sources the Blackberry Bold 9900 won’t start shipping until August 16th but anyone who is interested in receiving one can order it online now, free with a £41 a month contract, which offers 500MB of mobile data, unlimited text messages and 1200 minutes free talk time. A slightly cheaper contract is also available at Three, who are offering unlimited mobile data, 2000 3-to-3 minutes, 5000 texts and another 2000 minutes all for £40 a month on their One Plan deal. Click the link above to be directed to their site so you can purchase this great deal.

The new device from RIM runs there latest BlackBerry OS 7 and is also thought to be their thinnest BlackBerry yet at 10.5mm. If you’re thinking that these contract offers are a little expensive, here is a little refresh of some of the impressive specs the device is packing; a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 768MB RAM, 1.2GHz processor, 2.8” touchscreen, 8GB of storage with microSD slot for storage expansion and a full QWERTY keypad.
