Pre-order Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One bundle

If you love Gears of War and plan on getting the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition this August, hold on to your money.

Microsoft and The Coalition have announced at Comic Con that there is going to be a special Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Xbox One console bundle.

Even better is the fact that it is going to come at no extra costa either. In other words, you basically get the upcoming game for free as the package price is $350, which is what a new Xbox One console retails for at the moment.

Right now, we can see that Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle pre-orders are already live direct on the Microsoft Store and through GameStop.

If you choose to buy from GameStop, you’ll also get a bonus Savage Grenadier Elite skin for multiplayer which is not bad.

The bigger picture though is that Microsoft are handing out a highly anticipated game for free for the same price as a console which is really impressive stuff.

Over to you Sony to try and match this with a console bundle and upcoming release for free – do you think they will do it?

Let us know if you plan to pre-order this package. It will be available on August 25!
