Portal 2 Retains Top Spot in Latest UK Games Chart

For those of you wanting to know where the games that have been purchased are ranking in the all formats chart this week, we have some news to keep you up to date from the new chart that includes sales from the week ending 30th April.

It appears that Valve’s Portal 2 has retained the top spot for its second week at number one. It fought off the likes of Mortal Kombat which keeps its second place and Zumba Fitness which is staying strong in third place.

According to the article at CVG the Xbox 360 version of the Portal 2 game is selling far more than on the PlayStation 3, specifically 59% of units sold on the Xbox 360 and 33% on the PS3.

Other interesting points that came out of the rankings were Call of Duty: Black Ops dropping from 3rd to 5th and games that are still hanging in the top ten are EA’s FIFA 11 and LucasArts’ LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars at 7th place and 6th place respectively.
