Portal 2 PC Patch Released: List of Changes

If you own a PC and a copy of Valve Corporation’s hugely popular Portal 2 game, the chances are you may already be aware that the developer has recently released a patch. However, if you haven’t been on the game for a while, you might want to know what the latest update involves.

As recently noted over on the website, the latest Portal 2 PC patch includes improvements and fixes for a number of issues that gamers were reporting, including the crash and / or graphical glitches that occurred after players changed the video settings without exiting the game.

The latest update should have also fixed the issue where players were getting stuck at the beginning of chapter 6, as well as the problem where the mouse cursor wouldn’t highlight UI elements in the game on Mac OS X and the issue in which the game would crash when trying to use other weapons.

It is also said to have fixed the occasional crash that seemed to occur after Alt-Tab / minimizing or running in a window on specific graphics hardware, as well as various localization bugs and improvements. It has also removed unsupported console commands that appeared to cause issues when used.
