Portal 2 on Xbox 360, PC: Release date and Price listed, no PS3 version

We have some great news for fans of Portal now, as Valve has just announced a sequel, Portal 2 which is expected to release sometime this coming holiday season. We have some bad news for PS3 owners though.

As reported from VG247, the sequel will not be coming to the PS3 like Portal, instead Portal 2 will be released on PC and Xbox 360 only.

Valve state it is coming in holiday season, but GameStop has already slapped a October 26th date for when their pre-orders will ship. They also have a price for game, $49.99 – although this could well change before release.

What are your thoughts on the news? Particularly PS3 owners. Did you see this snub from Valve coming or not?
