Porsche 918 Spyder options list, still no price

A few days ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show Porsche showed to the world the final production version of the 918 Spyder, and while they still decided to hold back that all-important price we were treated to a few new details – well a lot actually.

The design of the new cars look rather beautiful and while some of you may not be happy with the hybrid configuration, Porsche has already said removing it would make the vehicle much slower, even if it does add extra weight. The hybrid system must be doing something right because it can out drag a Ferrari LaFerrari and a McLaren P1 up to more than 125 mph where they then come into their own.

We already know there is a huge excitement level for this new car and with the release of the Porsche 918 Spyder options list is sure to raise the enthusiasm level up a few more notches. No doubt some of you will be going on the new Porsche 918 Spyder configurator tool to try out a few options just to see how different you can make your model.

You have the choice of 12 different Porsche 918 Spyder color options, which are broken down into standard, metallic and special. The only other exterior options are a choice of wheels, with three for you to choose fro and a stone guard film.

The Porsche 918 Spyder interior options give you a choice of two seat types and 7 color combinations. Some of the other options that will be available to you are a lift system front axle, Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), and a host of other options, all of which can be seen on the Porsche 918 Spyder configurator page.

It is great being able to see what the Porsche 918 Spyder optional extras will be, but we still cannot understand why Porsche is still being coy about the price of the 918 Spyder, although most rumors suggest a price of $845,000. Let us hope we get confirmation of this soon.
