Pokemon X and Y Thousand Arrows, Waves gameplay

We have a feeling that there are going to be some major Pokemon X and Y news announcements in the coming weeks. Earlier this week we told you that Volcanion had resurfaced with some new moves, and also Zygarde hitting the headlines in reference to a future Pokemon Z game.

Now, it looks like we are closer than ever to the official announcement of Volcanion and Hoopa, the other Pokemon that were originally leaked with Diancie, with the latter already been confirmed of course via the latest Pokemon movie in Japan.

It looks like we can now bring you the first ‘semi-official’ gameplay showing Volcanion and Hoopa for the very first time. Not only that, but we also see evidence of Volcanion and Hoopa using two of their special moves as well – those being Steam Eruption and Hyperspace Hole.

If you watch the video, you will also see the animations for Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves – the two moves that are subject of intense debate right now. Most gamers believe that these moves will actually belong to Zygarde at some point, so we can point out that it is very unlikely that these two moves will belong to Volcanion and Hoopa as you see in the video.

This footage is the result of somebody obtaining these animations early, which is why you see Hoopa using Thousand Waves and Volcanion using Thousand Arrows – the animations do seem to suit those of Zygarde if you look closely.

Exciting stuff indeed, either way you look at it. Enjoy this first look at Volcanion and Hoopa, then give us your thoughts and reactions on it.
