Pokemon X and Y rumors reveal four new Pokemon

We have another wave of new Pokemon X and Y rumors to share with you now, and unsurprisingly the details once again come from an upcoming issue of a publication over in Japan. This one is particularly exciting if true though, as just after the official confirmation of Honedge, we could have another four new Pokemon to tell you about as well.

With the game releasing on October 12 worldwide and Pokemon X and Y receiving a recent barrage of new details thanks to E3, it looks like Game Freak and Nintendo are now sensing it’s the right time to start releasing frequent information on the game to build up anticipation further.

Honedge was a very exciting reveal with the news that the creature would be a steel and ghost type Pokemon. Now, details that are thought to be coming with the next issue of Coro Coro has apparently revealed that Panpura, Syoomai, Yotsurun and Myuujii are on the way too.

As you may have guessed, the new names above are in Japanese, so if they are true we still don’t know what their English names will be. What we can tell you though is Panpura is meant to be a grass / ghost type, Syoomai a water / bug type, Yotsurun an ice / fighting type and finally Myuujii possibly being the most exciting of these reveals – a new psychic based Pokemon thought to have a design that resembles a musical note.

That last part is interesting, as we’ve only just had Honedge which also features a unique design after being based on magical sword. We also hear how Myuujii could have a move called “Battle Melody”, which reduces the stats of an opponent Pokemon, whilst increasing a user’s stats at the same time.

It all sounds very good, but don’t forget that we hear fake Pokemon X and Y news all of the time, so just bear this in mind as you digest it. Would you like to see another musical based Pokemon in X and Y?
