Pokemon X and Y PAX 2013 gameplay

The gaming calendar is still very much at the forefront and lucky attendees this past weekend may have had the opportunity to attend Pax Prime in Seattle. One of the games on show is the highly anticipated 3DS title Pokemon X and Y, and we now have some great demo footage for you to check out, complete with commentary.

If you have been keeping up with the latest Pokemon X and Y news, you’ll probably realize that this is the same demo that originally surfaced over in Japan and then the same demo that Game Freak and Nintendo also showed off in Cologne, Germany.

Now US gamers looking to pick up Pokemon X and Y have the chance to sample the demo in English and you’ll be pleased to hear that the quality of the video is great and includes commentary from the guys over at GamesRadar.

The demo once again sees the player explore a brief segment of Kalos Region, sampling fights with a wild Pikachu although a rather lame one it has to be said. What you wouldn’t have seen in other demos, is gameplay of a wild Exeguttor being caught with a Poke ball after losing most of its life.

At the end of the demo, you’ll see that the last battle is against Professor Sycamore once again, who sends out various Pokemon in attempt to beat a level 100 Mega Mewtwo which Game Freak generously allowed players to sample.

With Japan, European and US gamers now having had the chance to play the Pokemon X and Y demo, all we need now is for Game Freak and Nintendo to release the game. October 12 cannot come soon enough, so let us know which starter Pokemon you’ll be choosing when playing the game for the first time.
