Pokemon X and Y new legendary rumors for 2014

It’s been a while since we last wrote about Pokemon X and Y, but we could have something which may interest those who are looking to see more new legendary Pokemon in both games. Rumors are spreading suggesting that Game Freak may be adding some of the previous legendary Pokemon from older games, into Pokemon X and Y.

We’ve spoken in the past about the fact that Game Freak are keeping fans waiting for the first official Pokemon X and Y event since the game released on October 12. We had the mini event at Walmart which offered serial codes for Garchomp and Scizor with new copies – but it wasn’t a global event so it didn’t really count.

This week, images have surfaced with the possibility of Game Freak adding the legendary Pokemon from Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald into Pokemon X and Y. If it turns out to be correct, a Pokemon X and Y event could unlock the likes of Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre in Pokemon X and Y.

You can see the images here courtesy of Tumblr. As you can see, these are 3DS models of the Pokemon in question, so it’s different to what we previously saw for the respective Pokemon in their respective Pokemon games.

Is Groudon coming to the game in 2014?
Is Groudon coming to the game in 2014?

We all know that new content is coming to the game, but would Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre make you happy, or are you expecting something better? These images could have surfaced as a result of hacking much like the Volcanion, Diancia and Hoopa situation – so bear that in mind.

Let’s hope Game Freak has some good news for us soon. Give us your reaction to the images and let us know what you want to see in terms of new content in 2014.
