Pokemon X and Y Mega Evolutions to excite fans

If you are pumped up for the release of upcoming 3DS title Pokemon X and Y, there’s no doubt that the big talking point that is still lingering over your minds is the recent revelation of Pokemon X and Y Mega Evolutions. Game Freak unleashed a massive surprise with their initial three mega evolution reveals, but now we have potential details on other mega evolutions that could be happening to other Pokemon as well.

As most of you are now well aware, these new mega evolutions can only happen during battle and only certain Pokemon will have the ability to mega evolve. We recently had an official confirmation that Mewtwo was one of these Pokemon, while Game Freak and Nintendo also confirmed that two other Pokemon would have mega evolutions as well – those being Lucario and Blaziken.

Thanks to some whispers shared over at Pokejungle, we now have some other mega evolutions to give you, although the authenticity of the details is still very much up in the air at this point. Presuming their list is accurate though, we could in fact see none other than Charizard with a new mega evolution in Pokemon X and Y too – how awesome would that be?

Other Pokemon detailed on the list with a mega evolution include the likes of Jynx, Pinsir, Gyrados, Gengar and another of the original starter Pokemon evolutions, Blastoise. Remember that we hear of fake Pokemon X and Y rumors all the time, so just remain cautious with this latest one.

It is a very exciting prospect to think that Charizard is going to be thrusted back into the limelight with a mega evolution. Don’t forget that we have already seen Charizard pop up in many official Pokemon X and Y trailers – hopefully it’s a sign of exciting things to come in the next few weeks.

What are your initial thoughts on mega evolutions – which other Pokemon do you want to see mega evolve?
