Pokemon X and Y Instacheck Hotspot download for 100% shinys

It looks like some massive news has turned up for all Pokemon X and Y players. If you are still playing the game regularly, most of you will probably be searching for methods on how to capture more Shiny Pokemon at a more frequent rate.

We have told you about various methods on how to speed up the process here, but it looks like a new method has been discovered, which claims to offer a 100% rate on capturing Shiny Pokemon in X and Y. It is all thanks to the Pokemon X and Y Instacheck Hotspot app, which uses your home WiFi connection to detect key details about your Pokemon X or Y game – specifically, the Shiny Value which is needed to hatch a Shiny from an egg.

This app will be able to scan your details and locate your Pokemon Shiny Value and also your Trainer Shiny Value. If both of the numbers match up, you can find and locate other players who are using the same method with the same SV values to hatch eggs for a guaranteed 100% Shiny rate.

Unfortunately, this process is not straight forward. Luckily though, the community are shining through once more, with those already clued up on the matter providing guides and tutorials on how to get this working on your game.

Firstly, you’ll need to bookmark the main forum thread here over at Smogon. It contains the download link for Instacheck Hotspot and also visual pictures with a step-by-step guide on how to get it working. Once you understand how it works, you’ll need to then bookmark this Google Docs page, which has the key information, with other players listing their SVs, as well as 3DS Friend Codes for you to hatch Shiny Pokemon from.

Failing that, we have added a video tutorial below which you can sit down and watch if you have the time. It looks like this is a legit way of getting Shiny Pokemon from eggs every single time, you just need to understand how the app works first.

So there we have it. Let us know below if you are currently trying this out and if you need any help from other users. Feel free to share your details if you would like to get in contact with another player.
