Pokemon X and Y Diancie event gameplay

Last week we told you about official plans for Pokemon X and Y gamers in Japan to get their hands on a special version of Darkrai. Now though, we have Pokemon X and Y news involving Diancie, as it looks like some gamers have already managed to unlock the Diancie event via the Mystery Gift quest.

Just to give you a brief recap, Diancie has been officially confirmed for Pokemon X and Y, but we are still waiting for confirmation on the Pokemon X and Y Volcanion and Hoopa locations.

Diancie still isn’t available officially, but now we have confirmation that some players already have access to the new Rock/Fairy type Pokemon. We have told you in the past that Pokemon X and Y cheats were available with the PowerSaves cartridge, but now we can tell you that this can also be used to access Diancie early.

For those wondering how it is done, we have the video to show you below which demonstrates the exact way that Diancie is unlocked in Pokemon X and Y after the player cashes in their Mystery Gift. You can view the whole event in the clip, but may want to avoid it if you don’t want to be spoiled early.

As a further treat to those that wish to see it, we also have some Diancie gameplay to show you which gives you a full look at Diancie’s special ability called Diamond Storm – wiping out some Victory Road enemies with a single hit.

Take a look at the clips and tell us if you have already seen people using Diancie in WiFi battles. Does it upset you that event Pokemon are now being unlocked early in the game?
