Now we can basically confirm that the latest Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire mega evolution will be Mega Sharpedo. Nintendo Japan has released a new trailer showing the game and hidden within the clip is a very brief glimpse of mega Sharpedo in action.

Even more exciting, is that it looks like its mega evolution form will transform into a submarine in which the player will be able to travel underwater.

If you don’t believe us, take a look at the image above which offers a reminder of Sharpedo’s original form in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Then, take a look at the screenshot from the latest trailer directly below, which shows Mega Sharpedo in its new form.

Notice that the distinct yellow star on the tip of Sharpedo is still present in the new form, while the unique red and black eye feature of Sharpedo is the same on both pictures as well.

Nintendo and Game Freak are obviously keeping silent on this for now, but they put this juicy little teaser in the trailer for a reason – perhaps gamers just haven’t spotted it yet.
