Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire mega evolutions

Nintendo and Game Freak know how to tease fans and with the recent Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gameplay tease, we actually didn’t get to see as much of the new game as we initially expected.

It looks like the next Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire news will be coming at E3 2014 during a Nintendo Direct event and hopefully we will see more of the game with some actual character gameplay.

We know that Groudon and Kyogre will be the main two cover stars of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire respectively. What you may not realize though is that the box art already shown could have already confirmed that Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire mega evolutions will be in the game.

Fans are desperate to find out if this feature from Pokemon X and Y will make it into the new game and it looks like Game Freak are definitely planning to include this at least.

Take a look at the image above and you can clearly see the differences to the design of Groudon and Kyogre from the original GameBoy Advance cover and the new remade Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire covers.

Many fans are saying that these are actually mega evolutions that we are looking for, given the distinct differences and the fact that both Groudon and Kyogre look much more enhanced on the remakes.

We will have to wait for more evidence to really see if this is true or not, but let us know what you think about this. Assuming that Pokemon Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire mega evolutions are coming, what other older Pokemon from the Hoenn region would you like to see get mega forms?
